J.J. Villar
Having traveled and performed all over the
United States and Europe, J.J. Villar has a different kind of talent to
offer. In the last 10 years he has been a part of what is known as “Sport Of
the Arts” as well as “Drum Corps International” better known to you as a
professional marching band. In that time he has been trained in the art of
Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern, Street Funk, Swing, Latin, and many other
styles of dance. Simply to put on music and let the rhythm take over is what
he is best known for. He also has an extensive knowledge in stage design, set
design, costume design, and most of all the ability to manipulate almost any
object such as a flag, rifle, saber, poles, sticks, fire staffs, props, etc. In
that time he has acquired 3 world championship titles and 3 “Performer of the
Year” awards with the world acclaimed performance ensemble, “The Concord Blue
Devils”. Since then he has taken his career to a new level and made his way
to the music industry with his specialty acts and his ability to create and
choreograph. Now he has had the opportunity to dance and perform as opening
acts for artists such as Usher, Jay Z, Case, Tyrese, Soluna, BB Mak, J Lo,
and many more. Also dancing back up for artists such as Gloria Gaynor, Manny,
J Anthony, Trinity, Ikon, Damozel, Erin Starr, and many more. His creative ability to choreograph has taken him to
a new level and he will continue to rise in the industry as the next big
thing. Never the less he always seems to have time to give back o the
community by teaching dance to young kids and dance teams at Jr. High and
High School programs to give a little of what he has learned in the last
several years. This is definitely a new established choreographer and dancer
that you should look forward to seeing in the near future. |
